AnantU’s faculty members were recently selected to present their research undertakings at various international and national levels. These researches span different domains, including the built environment, design interventions, innovations, sustainability and entrepreneurship.

Faculty members Archana Baghel and Shreya Parikh will present their respective research papers titled The Appropriateness of Standing Kitchen in Indian Context and Architectural Interpretation of Krishnabai Temple, Mahabaleshwar, at the 6th International Conference of Contemporary Affairs in Architecture and Urbanism ICCAUA2023 in Istanbul (June 2023); Darpil Shah and Dhaval Raval will present their co-authored paper titled Architectural Pedagogy with Construction: A Bridge between Classroom and Field at the ‘DARCH 2023 April – 4th International Conference on Architecture and Design, Istanbul’; and Snehal Nagarsheth and Aditi Vashisht co-authored paper titled Dwelling with the ‘Modern’ will be presented at the Alvar Aalto Researchers’ Network Seminar – Whose Modernism?’ in Finland.

Dr Diti Vyas’s work titled Feminist Subversion of Adventure in Indian Children’s Literature in English and Gujarati Languages” has been recently published in the UGC CARE, Scopus, (SJR) SCImago indexed The International Journal of Literary Humanities. Also, Prof Jasmine Gohil and Mozhgan Kouchaki’s co-authored paper titled The Application and Function of Color in Urban Space (Case Study of Amirchakhmaq Square Yard, Iran) has been accepted for publishing in the Springer Nature’s Scopus-indexed book series titled Advances in Science, Technology & Innovation.

Furthermore, at the national level, faculty members Vidhu Bansal presented her research paper titled Assessing Urban Morphology and Spatial Histories Through Space Syntax: Case of Varanasi at IIT Kharagpur, and Dr Subhalaxmi Mohapatra presented her co-authored research paper titled Understanding Circular Entrepreneurship and Circular Value Creation: An Exploratory Analysis using a Case Study from India at the 15th Biennial Conference in Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad.

To further strengthen the research culture at AnantU, the university has established the School of Creative Practices and Entrepreneurship (SCoPE), which has recently initiated the Anushodh Research Series. Under this initiative, AnantU faculty members share their research work presented at these conferences, thereby encouraging research initiatives through peer interactions and creating a robust research ecosystem.
