“The nation grows when you grow”, said Shri R.N. Ravi, Governor of Tamil Nadu, at the University’s 5th Convocation Ceremony held on 8th December 2023.
Speaking at the convocation ceremony, Shri R.N. Ravi encouraged students to dream big, resolve to make those dreams come true and work hard with passion to achieve them. A few years down the line, he urged students to look back and ask themselves how they contributed to the making of the country. He added that if the students accomplish their dreams with rigour and passion, the answer will bring them fulfilment and contentment. He urged the students to follow their passion and keep growing.
264 students received their degrees in the presence of Chief Guest Shri R. N. Ravi, the Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu; Mr Ajay Piramal, President of Anant National University and Chairman of Piramal Group; Provost Dr Anunaya Chaubey; board members; the university faculty and students. The ceremony also recognised 36 outstanding students with awards across 14 categories, spanning all programmes, ranging from academic excellence to best innovation, best graduation project to best thesis.
The University creatively transformed its campus into vibrant exhibition spaces featuring displays across diverse programmes. Students showcased product innovations, project installations, art, fashion ensembles, indigenous crafts, and urban design projects, adding vibrancy to the convocation ceremony.
