Yashika Singh, a Graduate of the Class of 2024 with Sustainable Fashion and Textile Design as major, transforms second-hand fabrics into upcycled garments.
India Recylces wanted to create a mini-collection for women’s tops with a strong focus on upcycling and sustainability. Under the mentorship of Prof Bhaviya Rana, Associate Professor, School of Design and sponsored by India Recylces, Yashika created REVIBE, a collection that blended eco-friendly practices with handcrafted details, giving new life to old fabrics in a unique and thoughtful way.
Hailing from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, Yashika included scarves and bandanas made from old fabrics, where she experimented with surface explorations and tie-dye techniques.
