Shimoli Bhargava, a Graduate of the Class of 2024 with Space Design as major and Urban Design as minor, reimagines a historic haveli as a boutique hotel and dining destination.
The objective was to reimagine a historic haveli as a boutique hotel and dining destination. Under the mentorship of Prof Neha Vin, Adjunct Assistant Professor, School of Design, Shimoli transformed a historic haveli into a boutique hotel and dining destination under the guidance of Chef Sanjeev Kapoor by deeply understanding the haveli’s historical and structural details.
Shimoli converts spaces into unique accommodations that celebrate traditional materials and craftsmanship, ensuring cultural connection while providing guests with a delightful and immersive experience that honours the local heritage.
Currently, Shimoli is preparing for further studies in the UK (Masters in Interior Design).
