Atharva Singh Chaudhary, a Bachelor of Architecture Graduate of the Class of 2024, explores the concept of transmutation of matter.
The objective was to find what alchemy represents within the architectural context. Under the mentorship of Prof Snehal Nagarsheth, Professor and Dean, School of Architecture, Atharva explored the mystical and philosophical concept of matter transmutation within the context of architectural theory and practice.
Hailing from Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh, Atharva’s thesis questions the meaning of matter, material and the process of transmutation, using examples from various disciplines parallel to architecture.
