Adityaraj Narsingh Rana, a Bachelor of Architecture Graduate of the Class of 2024, designs an architectural interpretation of Jaipur railway station.
The objective was to create an architectural interpretation of Jaipur railway station. Under the mentorship of Prof Sandeep Paul, Adjunct Associate Professor, School of Architecture, Adityaraj was focused on how the built railway station can serve its purpose of being a gateway into a city.
Adityaraj’s thesis aimed to provide a solution to how a railway station acts as a gateway, exploring how people can perceive a city from its arrival point by designing an experience that embodies the unique characteristics of its location.
