The Design Charrettes in the first year and the Capstone Project in the second year are platforms to effectively utilise the skills learnt during the programme.
The pedagogy facilitates hands-on learning through real-life situations, cases and experiences. Building on this, the students of Urban Design and Development are required to undertake a capstone project executed over two semesters in the second year. The project provides the students with an opportunity to connect and work with real stakeholders, funding agencies and implementing authority, ensuring extended association with them through the project life cycle in the form of professional internship.
