Educational Qualification: Master degree with at least 55% of the marks or equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven-point scales in any discipline from a recognised university/institute
Experience: At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs.7000/- and above or with eight years of service in the AGP of Rs. 8000/- and above, including as Associate Professor with experience in Educational Administration. Or comparable experience in research establishment and/ or other institutions of higher education. Or 15 years of administrative experience, of which at least eight years should be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post.

Direct the daily operations of the Registrar’s Office; serve as an internal consultant and implement academic policies related to faculty; review policy exception requests; act as the custodian of the University records.
Recommend and participate in the development and implementation of university policies and procedures regarding academics and administration.
Maintain and upgrade the University’s academic information infrastructure including academic records archives, online student database, other electronic databases and information systems.
Head the Academic Regulations and Records office, maintain student records including the academic records and personal information records and keep a proper record of Academic regulations of the University subject to the supervision of the Academic Council.
Act as a member-secretary to the Governing Body, the Board of Management and the Academic Council.
Sign and authenticate all contracts on behalf of the University.
Oversee overall operations of the departments reporting to this position.
Be the custodian of the common seal, buildings, records, library and such other assets of the University as the Board of Management shall commit to his charge.
Represent the University to various governmental agencies, vendors, students and their parents, and/or the general public. Be responsible for the conduct of all legal matters and proceedings on behalf of/ against the University.
Recommend and participate in the development of university policies and procedures; may serve on university planning and policy-making committees.
Upgrade professional knowledge, evaluate new technologies and recommend their implementation as appropriate.
Exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as prescribed by or under the Statutes of Anant National University or assigned to him, from time to time, by the Provost.
