Neha Bhatt specializes in urban planning and is passionate about building inclusive and sustainable communities. Before joining Anant University, she taught at CEPT University and was a Loeb Fellow at Harvard University. Neha has worked in the public and nonprofit sectors working to improve policies and funding for public transportation, affordable housing, pedestrian and bicycle friendly streets, stormwater management, and local economic development. She has served as policy advisor for the Washington D.C. City Council, executive director for the National Association of City Transportation Officials, and campaign manager for the Sierra Club, the largest environmental organization in the United States. Neha was the founding director of the Local Leaders Council at Smart Growth America, where she built a nationwide network of mayors and council members dedicated to making their cities greener and more affordable. She holds a Masters in Community Planning from the University of Maryland and a Bachelors in Biology from the College of New Jersey. At Anant University, Neha teaches Written and Verbal Communication.
