Aarmabh Incubation Centre and Kathakari International Symposium on Storytelling are happy to announce Kathakari Poster Making & Demonstration Contest for the AnantU student community to celebrate stories:
Your poster can either highlight research results dealing with the themes (Oral Narratives, Identity and Politics, Storytelling in application, Visual Storytelling and Moving Images) or present your creative rendering of these.
Your demonstrations could be innovative storytelling tools or creative avatars of folklore, games that would contemporize ancient tales or ways in which storytelling can trigger innovation.

1st Prize – INR 3,000 + Certificate
2nd Prize – INR 2,000 + Certificate
3rd Prize – INR 1,000 + Certificate
Demonstrations
1st Prize – INR 3,000 + Certificate
2nd Prize – INR 2,000 + Certificate
3rd Prize – INR 1,000 + Certificate
Award winning posters & demonstrations would also be featured on the Kathakari website, Instagram & LinkedIn page in addition to being felicitated at the closing ceremony. Winners will also get a direct entry into the idea contest conducted by Aarambh Incubation Centre.
Submission Guidelines
The competition is open to all who are currently enrolled in any academic programme and Alumni from AnantU.
One entry per participant/group will be accepted in each category. Group to not have more than 3 students.
A. Poster – The poster should be in A3 size with 20+ font for titles; 12-point font or larger for text, using a sans serif font (e.g. Arial, Calibri, Geneva, etc.)
B. Demonstration – The demonstration video of your tool/device needs to be shared in avi/mp4 formats. Video frame specification would be 16:9
Submit your entries to storytelling@anu.edu.in with Subject: “Kathakari 2023_Poster Submission/Demonstration Brief_Theme Name” on or before 5th March, 2023
