Architect Dr. Balkrishna Vithaldas Doshi is known as the pioneer of contemporary Indian Architecture. Doshi, 90, is the first Indian to win this year’s prestigious Pritzker Prize for his immaculate contributions towards current design projects that fuse local Indian understanding with international modernist principles.
